I have never used it, but as I understand, it's more multiplayer-oriented (such as increasing and decreasing relations being more drastic per increase/decrease - 50 each, I think, instead of 15/25). It continued using the same versioning, in fact, calling itself Vickymod unofficial.
Robmod was an unofficial successor to Vickymod when it was left unmaintained for a long time on Vickymod version 1.06b. Not a lot of changes, but what's there is great - things like canal building event chains, the Scramble for Africa, cultural unifications, and elections are all improved. 2.0a is the latest (and probably last, seeing as /u/Rangerage isn't feeling up to updating it). If you want to start lightly with mods, Vickymod is your best bet. It's basically a straight improvement on vanilla.
Probably the most popular Vicky mod, and is the basis for a couple of other mods.
